It has been a very busy last two months! Weddings, Birthday Parties, Family Portrait Sessions, Web 2.0, Blogging for Corporate Accounts and learning more about photography and it's little tricks all the way through.
I feel badly I haven't blogged on my own blogs. I know how important blogging is and, as a Web Social Media Consultant, I encourage all my clients to do so. Do as I say, not as I do would be a perfect phrase in my scenario.
The Christmas Season is upon us and I am happy as a kid in candy land with the opportunities one photographer is offered during this season. Last week, I took a young group of siblings out to Longwood Gardens for a portrait session as a surprise for their mother for Christmas. Besides the fact that they are terrible secret keepers, their pictures were beautiful and capture their personalities. Their Mother called me in tears, saying how wonderfully beautiful her "babies" look and that she was so thankful for my time and effort.
This is always the most rewarding part of my job. When my pictures can being someone to tears of sheer joy and happiness that is the best I can hope for. And now, for my efforts, I am gaining family portrait sessions, weddings, birthday parties and other family gatherings from this ONE session. Word of mouth is more powerful than any advertisement could ever offer!
